Casa Madeirense is my favorite Restaurant in Madeira If you really want eat very good choose this restaurant - for is the bestnin Madeira and also all other foods are VERY VERY good. We visited this restaurant and enjoyed their tourist menu which was 19 euros each. This consisted of bread, garlic bread, cheese and olives followed by soup followed by a choice of espada or steak on a skewer followed by creme caramel. The second time we visited we declined the soup as we could not cope with the quantity of food. The meat and the fish were both beautifully cooked and we could not fault either the food or the service. - SueLoughborough

The range of pizzas is amazing and they are just delicious - probably the best I've eaten outside Italy. The toppings are generous and obviously very good quality ingredients are used. The small come in at around 8-10 euros and are, for me at least, more than enough. The large are big enough for two to share. You can eat inside or on a little covered terrace. The atmosphere is relaxed and the waiters are really friendly and charming. Well worth trying. - peregrine_10

Nothing from the outside but everything inside was charming with the waiters in Maderian waistcoats. Food and service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. We chose the local mixed meat kebabs which were put on a hanging hook on your table. - lynda46

We have passed by this restaurant. A few times and it always looked busy. Tonight we called in what a great meal we had the lamb chops were so tasty the chicken on a skewer was just so succulent it was moist and melted in your mouth. Great meal good friendly staff. Will go back - Maude
